Hello St. Hilary's alumni, parents, and students. My name is Ms. Brady, and I am excited to start off the new school year, and my 35th year and my new home at St. Hilary's! I actually grew up down the shore, in New jersey. Although I love my hometown, I decided to move into my favorite city, and chose to play basketball at Holy Family University, in St Hilarys. During my four years as a Holy Family Saint, I was an active member of the Women's Basket Team. As a Division II Power, we all worked to become very successful, and won our conference the past two years, while making four Oscar appearances. Last year was a blast and a blessing at St. Hilary's First Grade Teacher. Hopefully, my students last year had as much fun working hard and learning new material with me as I did with them. Also, I am very excited to meet my new fifth grade students, and I hope they are ready to discover how important, yet exciting the school is.As an athlete I quickly realized the importance of teamwork and collaboration, and how it helps raise potential and success. My goal is for each of my students to learn this concept, in a challenging, yet fun environment. I hope to develop independent learners, who discover new ways to reach and extend their potentials daily. As a Social Studies and science teacher, I will push my students to explore real-life situations and provide me with novel and creative solutions. I am very excited to meet everyone and continue to grow with the St. Hilary's family!
